Missionaries = Real Handymen!

Hello Everyone,

We had a petty interesting and fast paced week. We were handy men, and Apartment Inspectors, President Harper arrived and we went to the Beach!

This is President Clawson's last week as Mission President. Early in the week, He called us up to help him with a few things he wanted to make ready for President Harper. On Monday, He asked us to come up at 6:30am and help with some leaks in the ceiling. He showed us the leaks, and we crawled up into the attic and sealed up a few leaks and did some extra wrapping of pipes and things. It took us about 2 hours. On Tuesday, he asked us to come and change some shower heads and put up a few smoke detectors and small other things. When I received this calling, I did not think I would be doing all of this kind of thing but I am always up for a new adventure!

On Friday, we did apartment inspections! Part of our job as Office Elders is inspecting peoples apartments in Freetown and Kissy. We have done all of Freetown and will do Kissy next Friday!

President Harper arrived on the 27th. He got in at about 8:30pm and came home to a huge power outage and rain storm. A true Salone welcome! We were able to meet him the next day and I really like him. He is from Idaho and owned a Tractor Company, and does a bunch of triathlons with his wife! He will be a really solid guy to work with and I am grateful I get to be a part of it!

-Overall, we had a very solid week! Next week we will have Zone Conference and Transfer News.
